If you're experiencing login issues (e.g. with your wallet or marketplace account) or encountering error messages despite attempting to refresh the page in your browser and switching to another browser or device, clearing your browser cache may resolve the problem in certain instances.
It’s important to know that after you clear your cache and cookies:
- Some settings on sites get deleted. For example, if you were signed in, you’ll need to sign in again.
- Some sites can seem slower because content, like images, needs to load again.
Also make sure you have your Magic Words for the wallet or your password for the marketplace at hand.
Browsers are changing through updates so we can’t provide you an up to date guide for each of them, but we can provide some links for the most common browsers where you can check out how to clear your cache.
Tor:
Tor is a security based browser that does not save any information on your cache. By opening your wallet on this browser you automatically open a new session with a clean cache. This might help solve your problem. In case you were already using Tor, just close it and open it again.
